Jing is a composer, musician, sound designer and engineer. He received his MFA in Theatre Sound Design and Composition with Richard K. Thomas at Purdue University. He earned his bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with first-class honors from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Jing is a man with many passions - most of which revolve around music. He has worked in audio technology research & development at Panasonic, creating exciting new ways to render sound for the home. He has also worked in MediaCorp Singapore, one of the leading TV companies in Southeast Asia, as sound designer. In the summer of 2017, he worked at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta GA with Clay Benning and developed a Filemaker database that effectively and accurately tracks the thousands of elements in the Alliance sound inventory.

Jing has designed and composed for theatre, TV and film productions internationally. He received USITT's 2018 Rober E. Cohen Sound Achievement Award. He now works as a lecturer in Sound Design and Engineering at the School of Theatre and Dance, University of Florida.
